For those not familiar with the U.S. Psychotronics Association, the book Energetic Processes provides a fascinating window into their world of high-tech weirdness. Volume I, Interaction between Matter, Energy and Consciousness, offers 19 articles by 19 different authors, each a member of the U.S. Psychotronics Association. Some big names show up on these pages: Eldon A. Byrd, Andrija Puharich, Jack Houck, Robert C. Beck, and Thomas E. Bearden to name a few. Here is the Amazon.com listing:
Of special interest is Beck's paper "Extremely Low Frequency Magnetic Fields and EEG Entrainment: A Psychotronic Warfare Possibility?" (presented at the Annual Conference of the U.S. Psychotronics Association, Dayton, OH, 1978). See an internet copy here:
Equally interesting is a 1991 history of Remote Viewing by Jack Houck titled "Remote Viewing and Psychokinesis Research." Several of his articles may be found at his webpage:
One may recall that Mr. Houck was the man who taught Col. Alexander and Gen. Stubblebine how to bend spoons with the power of one's mind, and he hosted several "PK Parties" during the early 1980s. See Paul Smith's Reading the Mind of the Enemy (reviewed below) for more.
The Psychotronics Association hosts a website at this address:
Energetic Processes was self-published through Xlibris, where one may order copies at this address: http://www2.xlibris.com/bookstore/bookdisplay.asp?bookid=13927
The association provides a "rogues gallery" of their officers and board members here:
